Xovis, a Swiss company, makes 3D stereovision sensors and the AERO platform that measure passenger flow and queues in airports. More than 120 airports run its systems.
Founded in 2008 with about 200 staff and owned by Capvis since 2019, it bought HELLA's people-sensing business in 2024. AERO uses machine learning to detect queues and reconfigure them automatically. Claims such as 14 of the world's top 20 airports and 99 per cent accuracy are its own.
San Diego (SAN) runs it across its new 30-gate Terminal 1, opened in 2025, and Prague (PRG) expanded it across its terminals. Curacao (CUR), Luxembourg (LUX) and Montevideo (MVD) are recent customers.
