CLEAR facial-recognition checks at security

CLEAR introduced facial-recognition eGates at Newark TSA checkpoints, according to reporting cited by the British Aviation Group in October 2025. The equipment supports identity checks for participating passengers. This is a limited checkpoint service, not evidence of airport-wide biometric processing.
