Skyfora, a Helsinki company founded in 2019, turns signals between mobile phone towers and satellites into detailed weather observations for aviation.
Formerly Hurricane Unwinder, it raised a 4 million euro seed round in March 2025. Its patented telecom GNSS meteorology provides dense, real-time atmospheric data for route planning and safety. No aviation customer is named.
