Rolls-Royce
Rolls-Royce, the London engine maker, uses AI in its engine services, keeping a digital twin of every engine and forecasting when each life-limited part is due.
Founded in 1906 with more than 10,000 staff, it runs the IntelligentEngine platform and engine health monitoring that tracks about 10,000 parameters in real time. Its data on parts history runs on IFS Maintenix. The engines and its TotalCare and CorporateCare service contracts are not counted as AI here.
In June 2026 it launched enhanced health monitoring for Pearl 15 engines on the Bombardier Global 5500 and 6500, combined with Bombardier's Smart Link Plus and fitted to all new aircraft; about 450 Bombardier aircraft already use Smart Link Plus.
