Luftronix

Predictive Maintenance

Luftronix built an autonomous drone system for scanning aircraft surfaces during inspection.

Founded in 2018 and part-owned by ELEKS, with research in Lviv, it ran a joint inspection programme with Ukraine International Airlines and MAUtechnic at Kyiv Boryspil (KBP) in 2020. That customer's operations stopped when Ukraine's airspace closed in 2022, no activity has been recorded since, and no AI analysis layer has been evidenced. Its location is given as both Hamburg and Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.

No verified deployments yet

Luftronix is profiled in the companies register, but no deployment has been verified against published evidence. Records are added as evidence is reviewed and graded.

Luftronix Autonomous Drone Inspection System

A system of custom-built autonomous drones equipped with high-precision GPS-independent navigation and high-resolution scanning cameras, designed to perform fully automated external visual inspections of aircraft.

The problem it addresses

Manual aircraft external inspections are time-consuming, require scaffolding and human access at height, and produce results that are difficult to compare across inspection cycles. Luftronix drones automate the inspection process, reducing turnaround time by up to 50 percent and producing consistent, auditable, digitally archived scan records.

Key features
  • GPS-independent autonomous navigation using patented Fused Flow technology
  • Sub-millimeter precision (0.16mm ground sample distance)
  • Guaranteed full surface coverage per programmed inspection plan
  • Redundant navigation instruments, flight control systems, and autopilots
5 more features
  • Onboard high-quality scanning cameras
  • Real-time and post-flight data review
  • Scan data archived for over-time comparison
  • Safe operation inside hangars without GPS signal
  • On-screen measurements within regulatory specification limits
Technical specifications (4)
  • 0.16mm ground sample distance (GSD) scan resolution
  • Non-GPS multi-sensor Fused Flow optical navigation
  • Fully redundant critical instrument systems
  • Compatible with HUVR Inspection Data Management System
Certifications and approvals
  • US Patent US11756129B1 (precision navigation technology)

Luftronix Orchestrator

Software platform for scan planning, autonomous drone flight operations management, and inspection data analysis. Creates three-dimensional scan plans for any object, controls autonomous drone execution of inspection flights, and provides regulatory-compliant inspector views with optional AI analysis of collected imagery.

The problem it addresses

Managing autonomous multi-drone inspection missions across complex three-dimensional objects such as aircraft requires precise flight path planning and data capture orchestration. The Orchestrator automates this workflow from scan design through flight execution to data review.

Key features
  • 3D scan plan creation for any object geometry
  • Automated autonomous drone flight execution
  • Regulatory-compliant inspector view
  • Optional AI analysis of inspection imagery
3 more features
  • Real-time data collection monitoring
  • Post-flight data review capability
  • Integrated with Luftronix drone hardware

Profile data from the Aerostack companies register; deployment records from the verified register. Evidence grades: T1 first-party confirmation, T2 credible reporting. See Our approach for how records are graded.

Aerostack tracks AI deployments across airports and airlines, with the published evidence behind each record. Photography is real aviation imagery. Record thumbnails may show the named airport or airline; other photographs do not.
