Honeywell Aerospace
Honeywell Aerospace, the avionics, engine and systems arm of Honeywell, sells predictive maintenance and connected-aircraft analytics that stream aircraft data into its Forge platform.
Its AI tools include GoDirect Connected Maintenance, which predicts auxiliary power unit failures, Ensemble, introduced in 2024, which sends business-jet engine data over a Wi-Fi gateway to Forge, where an algorithm flags compressor anomalies early, PTMD trend monitoring for its engines and Forge Flight Efficiency. It also sells Forge connectivity and cabin services and RECON health monitoring for helicopters. Its avionics, engines and auxiliary power units are not counted as AI here.
Cathay Pacific signed for GoDirect Connected Maintenance on more than 60 A330 auxiliary power units in 2017, and reported delay minutes cut by 51 per cent in trials, a Honeywell figure. No newer named airline deployment has been verified; customer figures come from Honeywell itself.
