Pzartech

Smart AirportsPredictive Maintenance

Pzartech, an Israeli company founded in 2015, developed visual-recognition tools that identify aircraft parts by shape and read serial numbers in maintenance shops.

Its Snapr PN identifies parts, Snapr SN reads serial numbers for engine inventories, and TrackR, a process-tracking tool, was in development with Israel Aerospace Industries. Its only dated activity is 2019 work with IAI's engine workshop, and one directory lists it as no longer operating from 2020.

No verified deployments yet

Pzartech is profiled in the companies register, but no deployment has been verified against published evidence. Records are added as evidence is reviewed and graded.

Snapr PN

A smartphone-based solution that extracts aircraft part numbers (PN) through 3D shape recognition and computer vision. Parts are identified against a catalog of client-captured images without requiring RFID tagging or engraving.

The problem it addresses

Eliminates manual, error-prone part identification in aircraft MRO workflows. Reduces technician time spent locating and verifying replacement parts, cutting planned maintenance downtime.

Key features
  • 3D shape recognition without prior RFID or barcode tagging
  • Deep learning image classification
  • Smartphone-based interface for field technicians
  • ERP integration (including SAP S4 Hana)
1 more feature
  • WhatsApp interface option
Technical specifications (3)
  • Computer vision using 3D shape recognition
  • Deep learning model trained on client part catalogs
  • Operates on existing employee smartphones

Snapr SN

A platform that digitizes aircraft engine inventory processes using industrial optical character recognition (OCR) to extract serial numbers from engine components. Designed for MRO workshops, engine owners, and offloaders to replace manual methods.

The problem it addresses

Replaces inefficient and error-prone manual serial number recording during incoming and outgoing engine inventory checks, enabling a single technician to manage the complete workflow.

Key features
  • Industrial OCR for serial number extraction
  • Full engine inventory workflow digitisation
  • Single-technician operation
  • Available on Android (Google Play)
Technical specifications (2)
  • Industrial optical character recognition
  • Android mobile app (published on Google Play, last updated December 2025)

TrackR

An installation-free process visibility tool in development with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) that aims to give operations managers a clear picture of their maintenance process status.

The problem it addresses

Provides managers with real-time process tracking across MRO operations without requiring hardware installation.

Key features
  • Installation-free deployment
  • Process visibility dashboard for managers
  • Co-developed with Israel Aerospace Industries

Parts Recognition Platform

Profile data from the Aerostack companies register; deployment records from the verified register. Evidence grades: T1 first-party confirmation, T2 credible reporting. See Our approach for how records are graded.

Aerostack tracks AI deployments across airports and airlines, with the published evidence behind each record. Photography is real aviation imagery. Record thumbnails may show the named airport or airline; other photographs do not.
