NW Pro
NW Pro, a Bedfordshire security-software company, builds Deeper Scan, which uses AI to check X-ray images of laptops, tablets and phones at checkpoints for hidden modifications.
Founded in 2020 with 11 to 50 staff, it developed Deeper Scan through the Ministry of Defence's Future Aviation Security Solutions programme, with testing support from Dstl, and compares each device against a database of trusted models. Its NexuSec natural-language CCTV search won the ADS Security Innovation Award in 2025. Trials are under way with UK security agencies, but no airport deployment is named.
No verified deployments yet
NW Pro is profiled in the companies register, but no deployment has been verified against published evidence. Records are added as evidence is reviewed and graded.
Products & Solutions
4 productsDeeper Scan
An AI-powered electronic device screening system designed for airport security checkpoints.
Addresses inconsistency and human error in traditional airport security screening of electronic devices, where operators must rapidly interpret complex X-ray imagery. Reduces reliance on continuous human oversight while maintaining a human-in-the-loop for unknown device types.
- AI-automated analysis of electronic devices via X-ray and CT
- Comparison against a trusted cloud or self-hosted device database
- Scan processing in under 7 seconds
- Static and transparent algorithm design for regulatory compliance
4 more features
- Hybrid AI plus human expert review model
- Software integrable with existing X-ray systems
- Deployable locally or on central server
- Portable cabinet-based hardware format
Technical specifications (4)
- Scan time: less than 7 seconds per device
- Compatible with existing X-ray scanner hardware
- Cloud or on-premises server deployment
- Visual inspection app version also available
- Developed under UK MoD DASA Future Aviation Security Solutions (FASS) programme
- Voted one of most innovative cyber products in UK by DCMS (2022)
NexuSec
An AI-powered CCTV surveillance and person-tracking system that uses advanced computer vision and natural language processing to enable intuitive searches of live and recorded video footage.
Reduces the time and manual effort required for security teams to locate and track persons of interest across large multi-camera CCTV networks in airports and other secure environments.
- Natural language video search across multiple cameras
- AI-powered multi-person tracking
- Links passengers to security events
- Computer vision-based person identification
1 more feature
- Designed for airport and government security use
- ADS Security Innovation Award winner, March 2025
SensorSync AI
A multi-sensor data fusion platform that integrates existing and new sensors (CCTV, LiDAR, RFID, depth cameras, environmental detectors) into a centimetre-accurate 4D digital twin of a physical environment.
Provides airports with a unified operational picture across disparate sensor infrastructure, enabling real-time situational awareness, passenger flow optimisation, anomaly detection, and data-driven security compliance monitoring without requiring full replacement of existing sensor hardware.
- Fuses CCTV, LiDAR, RFID, depth cameras, and environmental sensors
- Centimetre-accurate 4D digital twin output
- Real-time passenger flow and crowd analytics
- Security anomaly detection
4 more features
- Curb-to-gate tracking capability

- Open-architecture with third-party data access
- AI modules including uniform detection for staff tracking
Technical specifications (3)
- Sensor inputs: CCTV, LiDAR, RFID, stereo cameras, depth cameras, environmental sensors
- 4D spatial and temporal data fusion
- Open-architecture API for third-party integration
Tray Passenger Monitoring System (TPMS)
An AI-based system that uses sensor fusion (CCTV, LiDAR, RFID) to link passengers to their security screening trays throughout the airport checkpoint process, validating compliance with security policies in real time and generating alerts for deviations.
Eliminates blind spots in airport checkpoint security compliance by providing automated, real-time validation that passengers are correctly associated with their trays and that security processes are being followed, reducing the risk of tray or item mix-up and improving auditability.
- Passenger-to-tray association using AI and sensor fusion
- Real-time process compliance alerts
- Non-biometric and biometric staff monitoring options
- AI-driven uniform detection for staff identification
2 more features
- Self-screening validation enabler
- Integration with CCTV, LiDAR, and RFID
Technical specifications (3)
- Sensor inputs: CCTV (primary), LiDAR (depth/spatial), RFID (tray tracking)
- Real-time alert generation
- Calibrated spatial and temporal data fusion

This privacy-by-design approach is a commercial differentiator in European airports where GDPR compliance is a procurement requirement.
The airport market is Outsight's primary vertical, with CDG and DFW as flagship deployments.
Primary competitors are Xovis (camera-based, Swiss), Veovo (also in the database), and SITA's crowd analytics tools.
The LiDAR vs camera debate in airport operations is active, Outsight has publicly responded to Xovis positioning, indicating direct competitive tension.
The ADP Group's investment and the DFW contract validate the technology for large-hub deployments.
