High Lander
High Lander, a Tel Aviv company, makes software for managing drone traffic and fleets. Its Vega UTM holds the world's first licence to operate an unmanned traffic management system, granted by Israel's aviation authority in late 2023.
Founded in 2017 with 11 to 50 staff, it sells Vega UTM to aviation authorities and air navigation providers, Vega HighSite for ports and industrial sites, and Orion DFM for automating multi-drone fleets. Israel made a UTM connection mandatory for drone flights, and Airwayz holds a parallel licence. A 14 million US dollar investment from the UAE's EDGE Group has been reported by a partner but not yet confirmed.

Products & Solutions
3 productsVega UTM
A fully autonomous software-only uncrewed traffic management (UTM) platform that provides real-time airspace awareness of both crewed and uncrewed aerial activity across any defined territory.
Enables national and regional aviation authorities and ANSPs to safely manage large-scale drone traffic alongside manned aviation in increasingly complex low-level airspaces, removing the safety and regulatory barriers to commercial BVLOS drone operations at scale.
- Real-time live airspace awareness encompassing crewed and uncrewed aircraft
- Autonomous flight plan approval, denial, and path alteration
- Strategic deconfliction at pre-flight planning stage
- Tactical deconfliction during active flight
11 more features
- Geo-fencing for permanent and temporary NFZ definition and enforcement
- IFF via Remote ID (ASTM F3411-22a) and ADS-B
- Drone radar integration
- Weather service with wind speed, direction, rainfall, humidity, and cloud cover
- Airspace capacity management
- NOTAM publishing
- Prioritisation enforcement (e.g. first responders, air taxis)
- Counter-UAS system integration
- Multi-directional data sharing with authorised parties
- Intuitive desktop and mobile dashboard
- Discovery and Synchronization Service (DSS) for multi-UTM interoperability
Technical specifications (7)
