Alitheon
Alitheon, of Bellevue, Washington, makes FeaturePrint, optical AI that identifies an individual aircraft part from its microscopic surface, with no tags or labels. Its aviation use is fighting counterfeit and bogus parts.
Led by chief executive Roei Ganzarski, the company has 11 to 50 staff and more than 55 patents. FeaturePrint photographs a part to create a digital identity that travels with it through maintenance and resale. The company claims accuracy above 99.9 per cent, and the product was named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2023.
Its named aviation route is GA Telesis, which integrated FeaturePrint into its WILBUR parts-provenance platform in July 2024; FeaturePrint links the physical part to WILBUR's blockchain records. No airline or MRO end user is named.

Alitheon is profiled in the companies register, but no deployment has been verified against published evidence. Records are added as evidence is reviewed and graded.
Products & Solutions
1 productFeaturePrint®
An optical AI, machine-vision software technology that generates a unique, persistent, inherent digital identifier for any physical object using only a standard camera or smartphone.
Physical items lack reliable individual-level identifiers that cannot be forged, damaged, or removed. Traditional proxies such as barcodes, QR codes, serial numbers, RFID tags, and stickers can be counterfeited, obscured, or lost. This creates vulnerability to counterfeit parts, gray-market products, supply chain fraud, installation errors, and inventory inaccuracies across manufacturing, aerospace, defense, healthcare, precious metals, and other sectors.
- No-touch serialization: creates a unique digital fingerprint from a single photograph with no physical contact or alteration
- Works with standard off-the-shelf industrial cameras or consumer smartphones
- Identification Mode and FeaturePrint (registration) Mode
- Robust to obscured, damaged, contaminated, or rotated items
6 more features
- Handles parts in motion and batch processing
- Versioning for item-level audit histories
- Supports assembly relationships (multiple components)
- Cloud-hosted (AWS); also deployable on GovCloud, local networks, and air-gapped environments
- Standard APIs for integration with external systems
- Over 55 issued US patents
