Amorph Systems predicted security queue times on the Helsinki Airport website
Deployed · limited scope
Finavia publishes predicted security-control queue times for Helsinki Airport on its website, a service it piloted from October 2024 and made permanent in June 2025. The pilot drew more than 200,000 views, Finavia said on 16 June 2025, and the forecast shows expected numbers of departing passengers in 30-minute periods, according to Finavia's Hanna Hämäläinen.
The forecasts come from Amorph Systems' simulation of passenger flow. Amorph says they reach up to 20 hours ahead, that no other airport offers a similar public service and that coverage has expanded to local departing passengers.
Neither company has published how close the forecasts come to actual waiting times. The service needs no passenger enrolment.
