Deep Turnaround AI with the digital twin at Vancouver International
Vancouver International · Aviation Solutions
In November 2025 Vancouver airport deployed Deep Turnaround AI, integrated with its digital twin, Airport Technology reported.
Aviation Solutions is the Schiphol Group subsidiary behind Deep Turnaround, computer-vision software that analyses aircraft turnarounds from camera video.
Set up in 2019, it has deployed Deep Turnaround at Edinburgh (EDI) and at Vancouver (YVR), where it feeds the airport's digital twin. It also runs a network of more than 60 airports through which it approves and supplies other technology. The register holds little else on the company.

Edinburgh Airport · Aviation Solutions
Edinburgh Airport is rolling out Deep Turnaround, a system from Aviation Solutions, a Schiphol Group subsidiary, that uses AI and cameras to detect more than 30 turnaround processes, according to the airport's December 2024 announcement. It can flag likely delays up to 40 minutes before the target off-block time, so ground teams can act earlier.
The rollout began in December 2024 and was expected to be live at multiple stands in the first quarter of 2025, Ground Handling International reported on 4 December 2024. That report described the technology as AI algorithms, machine learning and cameras working together.
