In February 2024 Nigeria's interior minister said e-gates were being installed at Nnamdi Azikiwe airport, 10 of 40 planned nationwide.
Officers in Abuja were trained on e-gates and MIDAS in July and August 2026, ID Tech reported on 10 August 2026.
