In December 2020 Riga airport opened eight ABC gates in non-Schengen sector C, covering arrivals, transfer and departures, Riga Airport said on 10 December 2020. Average throughput was 17 to 20 seconds per passenger, up to 180 passengers per hour per gate, Riga Airport said.
