Raleigh-Durham International Airport has US Customs and Border Protection biometric exit kiosks at 10 international gates in Terminal 2, the airport said on 19 September 2024. The kiosks verify the identity of departing international passengers, and passengers can opt out and be checked by an agent at the gate.
RDU listed the airlines using the gates as Air Canada, Air France, Icelandair, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Aeromexico and Copa. GovTech reported that the exit checks had been live since April 2024.
